Transcript of the diary of Edmund White, 2 Feb. 1888 to 3 April 1893. Describes his voyage to Australia on RMS Ortmuz including a trip to Pompeii, the journey through the Suez Canal and arrival at Adelaide, March 1888. Also describes Ballarat in 1889, Bendigo, Melbourne, Sydney, his poultry farming venture at Horsham, Vic., and his return to England on SS Ophir in 1893. Also includes a photograph of Edmund White and a family tree.
